About Me

I qualified as an integrative therapist in 2017 and continued my undergraduate studies, focusing on the specialist area of counselling and psychotherapy research, which I use to inform my practice.

I work by drawing on a range of effective approaches, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy (PDT), and Person-Centred Therapy (PCT). I believe you are the expert on your own life, which is why I work from a person-centred foundation.

My role is not to advise you or tell you what to do. Instead, I'll support you in exploring the areas of your life you choose to bring to our sessions, helping you navigate challenges and discover your own path forward.

I understand the complexities and challenges that life can bring and this experience allows me to bring a unique understanding and profound empathy to my practice, fostering a truly inclusive and accepting environment for all my clients.

Together, we will work towards helping you make your own decisions and gain a deeper understanding of yourself and your unique situation. I'm committed to providing a non-judgmental, confidential, and empathic space where you can explore your issues at your own pace and in your own time.

Feedback and Reviews

Gayle is a very sweet, kind and understandable therapist who approaches things with sincerity and when appropriate humourously and positively

Gayle is a marvellous and inspiring therapist. I can hear in the frequencies of her voice that she feels compassion strongly, that she uses her intellect as a positive force in the world for higher states of wisdom in the subject: I only have good things to say about her professional practice. I feel cared for, heard, seen, encouraged. When I say something that is amiss, Gayle is kind and patient to challenge my perception: this means I grow and develop. I am ever grateful to be working with her and would recommend her therapy to anyone wishing to grow.

I have been trying to find a suitable therapist for almost 3 years and had almost given up hope until I met Gayle. I’m so glad I persisted. She is able to hold me accountable to myself, whilst remaining compassionate and without judgement.

Gaining insight into my feelings and where they come from has made a huge difference in how I relate to myself. I know there’s more to work on, but it feels doable.
